Oh, the name game!

So, right now Trey and I are stuck in the name game. Naming your child is serious business, this isn't something that you can just change later in life if you get sick of calling your son one name or another. This is a lifetime commitment! Everyday our list changes and our top choices shift. Our afternoons are filled with text messages back and forth all of which start with "Well what about..., or ......." Oh the stress! Our friends and family were kind enough to help with a name poll, but all the names that were included in the poll seem to be out of consideration (well, at least for today). Here are today's front runners:

Jaxson James
Carson James
Conner James

Since we now know that our little nameless one is a boy we have had some fun picking up a few baby things. We ordered bedding which is set to arrive any day (I can't wait to see it), we bought a playpen that has lots of little extras, we found a few fun boy outfits, and we were able to start our registry! This week we have been watching my sister's dog, so we decided it would be a good idea for Rambo and Koda to give the playpen a whirl. They seem to enjoy the soft bassinet interior and spacious changing station.

HOLY CRAP! IT"S BOY!!

Well the day finally came for us to have our 20 week ultrasound. Walking into the appointment felt like Christmas morning. I was so excited and nervous, which combined with the 30 ounces of water that they make you drink before you go in made me feel like I was going to explode. I was so shocked when the ultrasound tech told us that we were having a little baby boy, Trey says he had a feeling that it was a boy; must have been his daddy instinct kicking in! Not at all what I was expecting to hear, but a fun surprise. Trey and I are both so excited!

Finding out the sex makes the reality kind of sink in that there is a baby on the way. Now the great name debate can begin! We will be sure to keep you posted once a decision is made :)

Without making you wait any longer here is our son's first shining moment, he really wanted to make it clear to us that he is in fact a he.

Busy Week!

We had a pretty busy week last week. Trey had to be at work at 3am all week, but his reward was having a few weekends off and we will surely take them! Wednesday we had our 16 week doctor's appointment. We got to hear the baby's heart beat so that was really exciting. It is still so hard for me to imagine that there is a little being existing inside my belly. It will be fun next month when we get to have an ultrasound and find out if it is a boy or girl swimming around in there. On Thursday we were so happy to go sailing with our friend Jessica and Trey's Uncle Scott. It was an awesome evening!

Big News to Share!

Well, I guess for most of you this is not a breaking news story, but Trey and I are happy to announce the upcoming arrival of Baby Klug! I have never really been into this whole blogging thing, but with some many changes happening in our life daily I thought it would be fun to keep everyone updated. We found out at the end of March that our little bundle will be arriving on November 28! We will be finding out the gender on July 10, there is no way either of us could wait till the end for the surprise. We are both itching to get a fun nursery theme cooked up ;)

Pregnancy so far has not been anything like I imagined. What happened to the stories of glowing happy women? So far I have been blessed with the worst pimples since puberty, the urge to vomit and eat a pop-tart at the same time, and the ability to fall asleep within five minutes of sitting on any solid surface. Now from what I hear these fun times will soon be behind me, so here I sit counting the days till the glorious times (again this is hearsay, which hasn't served me well so far) of the second trimester.

I will be sure to stop by often and update you on new adventures and our expanding waist lines (yes, I said our, Trey can be included in the latter as well!).
