Back to Work!

The time I thought would never come is here and I am back to work. My work is really understanding and has allowed me to create my own schedule, but it has still been kind of a rough week. On Monday and Tuesday I work in the afternoons, so Maddox and Daddy get to spend the afternoons together, then the rest of the week I work full days so Maddox heads off to "school." He seems to like school ok, and the infant teacher says that he is a super genius (well not in so many words, but I am sure that is what she means). So far things are going pretty good, and I am sure they will get better as we all settle into a routine :)

Here are some pictures of our recent excitement. There never seems to be a dull moment and I wouldn't trade our new little family life for anything!

This is what happens while I am at work. In Trey's words "Meet Mario"

Trying to get a picture of the boys in their matching outfits. I am sure some day they will yell at us for dressing them the same.

Road Trip!

So, at the beginning of our trip I was truly inspired and wanted to title this blog entry "Klug vs. Wild" but after much ridicule and teasing from my mom and Trey we are stuck with the lame and boring title of "Road Trip." Thank you readers for looking past the title and reading on.

This last week (the last week of my maternity leave) the Klugs plus Grandma Barb were lucky enough to head east through the Rocky Mountains to Butte, MT, or Butte America as the locals would say, to visit family. Maddox road ten hours both ways like a trooper (thanks to Grandma Barb) and was able to meet his Great Grandma LeeAnn, Great Grandpa Gil, Great Aunt Sue, Cousin Jennifer, Betty Jo and Gary (plus a few more visitors throughout the week). We had a great visit! Maddox ate up all the attention ad loved every single minute of it. He also slept through the night the whole trip (must have been the Montana air because those wonderful nights are now gone). It was a very very special visit and I am so happy we were able to make the trip.

To close out my blog before heading into the pictures I give you the top 5 reasons why you know you are in Butte America (no I am not knocking it, I was born there and am a proud Buttite).

1. There are more pasty shops than Starbucks
2. The bars don't serve Hefeweizen
3. There is a casino attached to everything, even the gas stations
4. At the bar your bill for 17 drinks will be $25.00
5. The people in town are friendly and seem to know everyone
